About Ornelas Enterprises

OEI Logo

Who We Are and What We Do

Located in Beaverton Oregon, Ornelas Enterprises, Inc. is a contract manufacturer focused on electro-mechanical assembly. We provide services to local and international customers in low to medium volumes and support many diverse markets. From education to aviation, medical to aerospace, military to communication, automotive to retail, our skilled team of manufacturers have years of experience and the highest quality. We are centralized around the AS9100 standard and certified to ISO 9001:2008. We are UL approved for cable assemblies in the U.S. and Canada. For government contracts we are also a Minority and Woman-Owned Small Business Enterprise.
Founded in 1991 by Tino Ornelas, we have grown into a dependable manufacturing provider while continuing to keep the family feel and flexibility of a small business. Our very first customer still does business with us today. It’s because of the partnerships we create and build with our customers that keep them satisfied and preserve our business relationship.

Our Corporate Culture

Located in the heart of Oregon’s Silicon Forest, Ornelas Enterprises, Inc. (dba OEI) is a closely held, family owned Contract Electronic Manufacturing and Assembly Company (CM). We are very proud to have created and continue to maintain an outstanding reputation for high quality service and flexibility. While other CM’s often specialize in the processes they offer, OEI takes great pride in offering a wide array of services. Our company has expertise including but not limited to: through-hole (THP) and surface mount (SMT) circuit board assemblies and modifications (both hand build for prototypes and automated for larger runs), cable and wire harnesses, mechanical assemblies, computer assemblies (chassis repair, modifications and complete integration), packaging and kitting.
One of the most important tenets of our company is that our most valuable asset is the employees. To this end, we work very hard to make OEI a family friendly company. We want our employees to have the option of attending every school function for their children and strive very hard to ensure they have the ability to do so. Every employee in our company from the front office to the manufacturing supervisors is cross-trained so that we are able to provide any coverage needed when an employee is absent. We have found this is also highly beneficial to our customers as we are able to provide quick turns in manufacturing by not having our employees be specialized in their skills.
